Vasquez Organic Farm is a small family farm owned and operated by Emiliano Vasquez and his family. Emiliano learned to farm as a child in Oaxaca, Mexico by his father and mother who would farm food to feed their family. Here he learned of natural ways to cultivate crops using nature as their tools. Once Emiliano came to the Central Coast, he learned to farm crops grown in Northern California while working as a farm worker at a local farm. To follow his dream of buying a house and some land to call his own, Emiliano and his family opened Vasquez Organic Farms in Hollister, CA. With a coupe of acres, Emiliano started cultivating different fruits and vegetables year round while rotating for crop diversity, planting flowers in between beds for beneficial organisms, to conserving water using drip systems and care.
