Sumano's Organic Mushrooms is committed to providing high-quality and great tasting mushrooms at a fair price, all year round. We grow organic Shiitake, Oyster and Lion's Mane. We are situated in San Juan Bautista, California. Unlike other Organic-certified producers who use substrate of dubitable origin, we repurpose local, completely untreated hardwood waste from lumber milling and finishing to craft our substrate. This lets us cultivate higher quality mushrooms. After fruiting, a local company crafts nutritious compost from our substrate, reducing waste and creating a more circular economy.
