Rincon Farms is a family run orchard and packinghouse in Carpinteria transitioning a conventional avocado orchard to a diversified organic farm- our practices include: compost making, permanent ground covers with native grasses and wildflowers (sweet alyssum, fescue, CA poppies to name a few); hedgerows with mixed fruit trees (stone fruit, citrus, and Mediterranean trees) mixed with native bushes and trees (purple sage, ceanothus, hummingbird sage, toyon etc) -- --$ acquired through grants that other farms should apply for as well!!. We pack Carpinteria's organic and conventional avocados which we supply wholesale to San Francisco and LA markets. We sell locally to restaurants too. We're a family run business who believes in treating our employees well while growing nutrient dense organic food for our community, in addition to offering affordable avocados. Top crops

Mostly all Avocados. Some Cherimoyas, Meyer Lemons (neighbor). Fruit to come in next few years: dragon-fruit, sapote, figs, pomegranates, stone fruit, apples, pears, lemons, limes, kishus, mandarins, cherries, mulberries, loquat, passionfruit, oranges, persimmons, jujube, asian pears, peaches, plums.
