Mabiel's journey unfolds from the fertile fields of Michoacan, Mexico, to the vibrant landscapes of Fresno, California—a testament to his deep-rooted connection to farming. Growing up alongside his father, Mabiel cultivated a diverse array of crops, including corn, squash, watermelon, and beans, on their small family farm. At the age of 17, Mabiel embarked on a new chapter in the United States, dedicating 15 years of his life to working for Fresno city. However, amidst the urban hustle, his passion for farming never waned. Throughout those years, the dream of having his own farm lingered in his thoughts. In 2016, the stars aligned for Mabiel when an opportunity presented itself—a chance to rent 7 acres for farming. Seizing this moment, he plunged into the world of agriculture, and since then, there's been no looking back. Mabiel's farm is now a vibrant tapestry of daikon radishes, turnips, red onions, peppers, tomatoes, and squash—a testament to his dedication, hard work, and the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. His story embodies the spirit of resilience and the pursuit of one's passion against all odds.
