Steve Murray's family has a long history of working the land, going back four generations on his mother's side - a family with a long history of matriarchal leadership. Starting with a 20-acre table grape farm, they have grown to over 300 acres and grow an incredibly diverse array of produce. The entire family is involved in the farm and their son, Steven Murray Jr., travels the world collecting rare produce. Currently, he manages one of the largest collections of rare fruit in North America.
