Siembra y Cosecha Farm resides in Fresno, California and is owned by Miguel and his wife Rocio. Miguel is a dedicated farmer originally from Santa Inés del Monte, Oaxaca, Mexico. Farming has been Miguel’s lifelong pursuit, a tradition inherited from his parents. Miguel’s roots in Oaxaca taught him the value of organic farming – a chemical-free, community-oriented approach that respects the earth and its resources. Rainwater would nourish their crops, fostering a deep connection to the land. Motivated by a dedication to both the well-being of their community and the environment, Miguel and Rocio have wholeheartedly adopted the principles of organic and regenerative farming. Their vision extends beyond the present, as they find inspiration in their children. With the goal of imparting this invaluable knowledge, Miguel and Rocio aspire to ensure that future generations continue to nurture the land as stewards of a healthier, more sustainable tomorrow.
